The earliest of the companies within Chenco Holdings was founded by Derek M.D. Chen in 1991 in Las Vegas, Nevada as a vehicle to invest in the local booming real estate market. Over the years, the various companies of the group invested in raw land, housing development, multi-family residential redevelopment, office suites operations, industrial park development, and focused areas of the financial services sector, including advisory, investment banking and merchant banking services. As their areas of interest expanded, Chenco Holdings also expanded geographically to include several US states, Taiwan and Mainland China. We currently have offices in Las Vegas, Irvine, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Chicago in the US, and in Taipei, Beijing and Shanghai.

To accomplish our mission, we have an unmatched full-time professional staff of both American and Chinese professionals with a combined 82 university degrees and decades of experience in our fields of endeavor. Substantially all of the members of our professional staff dedicated to our Asian activities hold degrees from American or British universities, received training in Western institutions and possess an intimate knowledge of the Greater China Market.
